These 14 Altcoins Could Ignite in May 2025’s Crypto Rally


Bitcoin has crossed $100K and is now trading near $104K. This rally sees altcoins also surge; some now test key resistance levels held for weeks. Against this bullish market activity, Crypto analyst Altcoin Daily has shared a list of 14 altcoins that could break out in May 2025. First, three coins from his selections are from the top 10 by market cap:

1. Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum is once again showing strength. In the last 24 hours, ETH has jumped and institutions have aligned with more ETH adoption.

Coinbase added 21,000 ETH to its treasury last quarter, now holding over 140,000 ETH, worth around $315 million. Institutions launching Layer-2 networks like Kraken, Worldcoin, and Uniswap are also adopting ETH as a treasury asset, pushing Ethereum further into the “store-of-value” category.

2. XRP

XRP gains fresh traction, this time within the pharmaceutical sector. Florida based’ Wellgistics Health will integrate XRP for real-time vendor payments in a $50 million deal. XRP’s speed (3-5 second settlement) and improved clarity from U.S. regulators help drive XRP’s business adoption.

3. Cardano (ADA)

Cardano is carving its own path by integrating with Bitcoin and building unique infrastructure.

Its partner project, World Mobile Token, is expanding connectivity across ecosystems, and may soon become a “partner chain” on Cardano’s Midnight framework. Founder Charles Hoskinson has voiced strong support.

  • Ondo Finance is working with big names like BlackRock to bring real-world assets like bonds onto the blockchain. They’ve also met with the SEC’s crypto team.
